As good as a B&B gets!
"What an unexpected pleasure it was when we accidentally fell upon 1862 Seasons on Main in Stockbridge, MA.

Upon knocking on the front door we were greeted by a lovely innkeeper and the aroma of fresh baked bread. Through some miracle she had a room available! The room, as the outside of the Inn, was meticulously clean.

We felt like we were in Europe as we enjoyed an informal tea time in the afternoon. Because we wanted to explore the area and all that it has to offer we never would have left the premises.

After dinner out we came back in time to enjoy the warm living room, a piece of cake and a cup of tea. Then it was off to our room to luxuriate in terrycloth bathrobes and the finest of bed linens.

Our one night stay came to an end the next morning with a carefully prepared, extremely ample, gourmet quality breakfast that was presented on fine china and punctuated by convivial conversation.

Beautiful Berkshire Weekend
" After a lovely drive up to the Berkshire countryside to destress after a week in New York City,we stopped in at the 1862 Seasons on Main in Stockbridge. Located in the center of town in a charming old country house that is so pristine and lovely we immediately relaxed. The room was beautifully appointed with Frette sheets,yum. After a restful nights sleep we awoke to the most wonderful gourmet breakfast we have ever had, and we travel a lot. This is the best kept secret in the Berkshires, just wonderful and relaxing."

Luxury at its Best!
Stockbridge, Mass. - 1862 Season's On Main -"Best Bed and Breakfast!"

"My husband and I were pleasantly surprised several weeks ago after we had stayed at a charming bed and breakfast called 1862 Season's on Main located in the Bershire's. Located in the heart of town on Main Street, this small but luxury bed and breakfast had all the comforts of home.

We arrived late after a long day at work and were greeted by the owners of the Inn with hot tea and coffee along with burning logs in the fireplace. Our room was wonderfully decorated with the highest quality of bed linens and down comforter..... I thought I was staying at a 5 star hotel even down to the warm and fuzzy bath robes.

In the morning, they served a hot breakfast with homemade bread and muffins. That was certainly a treat not to miss!

They were conveniently located downtown so it was easy to walk to the other stores along with other restaurants in the neighborhood.

I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is traveling in the future to the Bershire area.
